Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 24

Dear St. Paul's Family,

I want to share a special invitation for all friends of St. Paul's to join us for our Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 24. A Potluck Lunch will begin at 12:00 noon (or after the end of the second service). Several important things will happen at the annual meeting.

  • We will vote on new Church Council members
  • We will vote on new Spiritual Council members
  • We will receive six new members into our fellowship
  • We will approve a budget for 2010.
  • We will celebrate what God has done during 2009, and talk about how we plan to implement our vision in 2010

Sometimes, people have the idea that only friends are invited to an annual meeting. But this meeting is also a place for visitors and guests to find out more about what is going on at St. Paul's. While it is true that only members can vote, friends and guests are welcome to share in the fun and fellowship of the day.

My experience is that the annual meeting is often one of the most enjoyable meetings of the year.
