Confirmation 2012 to 2013
The 7th and 8th Grade Confirmation program at our church meets on Sunday mornings, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. The two year curriculum is a broad based discipleship program. Our 2012 to 2013 year will begin in September.
This year our class will focus on learning the Evangelical Catachism and how it applies to our lives.
Last year, our class focused on the following subjects:
- Who is God?, The Bible–Inspiration, How to Study the Bible, Man: His Creation and Fall, Christ: His Person and Work, The Holy Spirit, The Church, Salvation: The New Life, Christ’s Return, Response and Eternal Destiny
Evangelical Free Church History
World Missions
Christian Living
- Life After Birth, Quiet Time, Prayer, Fellowship, Temptation, Walking with God, Self-Image, Friends, Parents, Dating, Love and Marriage, Sharing Your Faith
Did you know that our confirmation program is open to newcomers, and to students who are not in 7th and 8th grade? In fact, we often have adults and students from outside our church participate in Confirmation. Feel free to invite friends to take our confirmation class at St. Paul’s.
Our teachers this year are Pastor Mark Friz, Mark Immekus, Jennifer Schalk, and Kelly Graeler. Our mentoring coach is Barbara van Dyk.
